Due to the Japanese government directions issued as of October 25, 2019, and enforced as of January1, 2020, Japanese citizens' last names will be first and given names second for official documents in English.

In accordance with the above-mentioned directions, JICE will put the last (family)name first, the same way they are written in Japanese in our documents in English.
