What we do
Focusing on employment, JICE provides Japanese language education, teacher training, and curriculum and textbook development, conducting multicultural projects throughout Japan, including employment support for foreign nationals and support for companies to provide stable employment opportunities for foreign employees.
Published in May 2019, these textbooks were designed to help people acquire knowledge of business etiquette and Japanese workplace customs, along with the verbal communication, reading, and writing skills needed in a workplace setting. There is also an edition on career planning that encourages learners to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to find employment on their own, and to reflect on themselves as they consider future possibilities.
