JICE has organized the training program for 3 participants from Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI *), which is called SJAHI Management Administration training program, from January 24th to February 19th 2014.
The purpose of this program is to develop human resources who can contribute to enhancement of SJAHI’s self-sustaining operation and management through intensive training programs provided by JICE. These are focused on the method of school management, test and evaluation system, establishment of curriculum, and improvement of leadership.
Three participants are from different department of SJAHI. Mr. Osman Bin Ahmed Alhaddad is Administration Supervisor who is responsible for the administration of the office, attendance management of the staff members, and recruitment, Mr. Asad Hafeez is Senior IT Supervisor who manages IT system of SJAHI, and Mr. Azouz Abdulmajeed Nabeel is SJAHI Instructor who currently handles English class at SJAHI. Each of them approached this training program from a different point of view.
As a closing program of this training, JICE held the final report meeting/farewell party with inviting guests involved in this training program. Each of SJAHI participants gave a presentation about what they learned in this training program and their action plan at this meeting/party. They were very eager to practice techniques and knowledge which they acquired through this training when they go back to SJAHI.
The training program was completed successfully although the heaviest snowfall in 20 years hit entire Japan during their stay. They enjoyed not only joining training program but also Japanese culture and seasons because it was the first time for them to see the snow. We are deeply grateful for support from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), each accepting company and school, and all the members who fully cooperated with this training program.
*SJAHI was established in September 2002 based on the cooperation between public and private enterprise of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan (Japanese side: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and JAMA) by the request of the Government of Saudi Arabia. After the cooperation by JICA completed in 2009, JICE was assigned as an implementing organization of Japanese side from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and has organized the training programs in Japan, dispatch of long term experts, provisions of equipment and materials since the assignment.
