International Exchange Program

Facilitating friendly communication between Japan and the world.

JICE arranges various kinds of programs for students and working people from overseas, such as lectures and seminars, cultural programs, homestays, and seminars at training camps, where they can interact with young Japanese people. JICE also manages programs in Japan and assigns training coordinators as facilitators to handle interpretation and smooth oversight. We can translate the learning materials, prepare training equipment, hold Japanese language classes and arrange accommodations and transportation. We offer the participants valuable opportunities to enrich their knowledge and provide the participants and Japanese people with a chance to enhance mutual understanding transcending national boundaries and races. One of our major projects is JENESYS.

JENESYS: Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths
JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) is a project proposed by Japanese government in 2007 to implement a large scale exchange programme, inviting approximately 6,000 youths to Japan mainly from the EAS member countries every year over the next five years, with a view to establishing a basis of Asia's stalwart solidarity by expanding youth exchange.
