Sub-Program/ Component and Accepting University

The new JDS program consists of the sectors called “Sub-Program” and “Component”, which correspond to and deal with the selected target priority area and development issues. In Cambodia, two sub-programs and eight components have been selected, which were confirmed as being indispensable to the economic and social development of Cambodia through the preliminary survey. The candidates of the JDS program are selected from the “Target Organizations”(PDF / 15KB) whose mission is closely related to the target priority areas and development issues.

Eligible Applicants

  • 1. Citizen of Cambodia;
  • 2. Between the age of 22 and 34 as of April 1, 2011 (For the component “Improvement of the Quality of Basic Health Care Service”, if applicants have diploma in medical doctor, the age requirement shall be between 22 and 39 as of April 1st, 2011.);
  • 3. Required at least two years of work experience including a period of probation as full-time employee in the target organizations;
  • 4. Has bachelor's degree;
  • 5. Has a good command of both written and spoken English (TOEFL score of 500 / IELTS 5.5 or higher is preferred but not required);
  • 6. Has not been obtained Master's degree under the support of foreign scholarship.
  • 7. Applicants must not be serving in the military.
